The New Google:

Google Inc. has undergone major company restructuring - Google created the holding company and conglomerate, Alphabet, in which Google will be the largest of a collection of companies. The smaller Google will include: Search, Advertising, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Chrome, and Android.

Google's previous execs, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, will now be the executives of Alphabet. The other companies that will belong to Alphabet were previously owned or connected to Google. These companies include Calico, Nest, and Fiber. Also under Alphabet will be Google's investing arms, Ventures, Capital, and Incubator projects such as Google X.
