After its Search Engine, Maps has been the most useful feature offered by Google to the world for the last decade.

Today, Google launched the integration of Google Maps into Google Drive, that will allow you to :

  • Store Map into your Google Drive folder and share it with your coworkers as you do for any document.
  • Customize your maps by saving itineraries, adding pinpoint with you own details and pictures or 
  • Tracing areas and overlap layers of your own information on the same map
  • Tracing your own routes

Create a new Map in your Drive
To create a new map in your Google Drive, it's simple :
  • Select the folder you want to save it in
  • Click on "New"
  • "Google My Maps"
  • Search your location and create layers, areas, routes and pinpoints
